Festive Opening Hours 2024/25
As the year winds down to a close, many of our venues will experience changed opening hours to give our incredible team a much-deserved rest. Please check out our festive opening hours from Tuesday 24th December 2024 to Tuesday 7th January 2025 using the link below.
Please note: All venues will be closed on 25th & 26th December, and 1st & 2nd January (excluding Royal Commonwealth Pool).
The Royal Commonwealth Pool is open on 1st & 2nd January. However, all pools are closed on 1 January due to the New Year's Day Triathlon. Please click here for more information.
Opening times for the Craiglockhart Leisure Centre and the Craiglockhart Tennis Centre differ. Please see our festive opening hours for full details.
The following venues will be closed between Christmas and New Year, reopening at various stages in January.
- Dalry Swim Centre: Closed from 25th December and reopening on 3rd January 2025
- Glenogle Swim Centre: Closed from 25th December and reopening on 3rd January 2025
- Jack Kane Sports Centre: Closed from 24th December and reopening on 6th January 2025
- Meggetland Sports Complex: Closed from 24th December and reopening on 6th January 2025
- Saughton Sports Complex: Closed from 24th December and reopening on 6th January 2025
- Kirkliston Leisure Centre: Closed from 24th December and reopening on 6th January 2025
- Sports Pitches: Closed from 24th December and reopening on 6th January 2025
- Balerno High School: Closed from 23rd December and reopening on 6th January 2025
- Trinity Academy: Closed from 23rd December and reopening on 6th January 2025
- Queensferry High School: Closed from 23rd December and reopening on 6th January 2025
- Wester Hailes High School: Closed from 24th December and reopening on 3rd January 2025

Coaching Term Dates and Festive Holiday Camps
Please be advised coaching classes stop on Sunday 22nd December and re-start again on Monday 6th January.
Our Coaching classes may be taking a break for Christmas but this Winter we have lots of activities for children, teens and families to enjoy.
Whether your family are crazy about climbing, silly about soft play or love to swim, we've got you covered. We have activities for every age and stage!
